WAESOL, the Washington state affiliate of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), is a professional, non-profit organization whose purposes are to:
  • Promote scholarship
  • Disseminate information related to ESOL
  • Strengthen instruction, teacher training, and research in the teaching of English to speakers of other languages

Clock hours will be available for both the live conference and the recorded sessions. Please note: Clock hours can only be earned once for a particular session either during the live conference or as a recording.

I am a master's student at the University of Washington studying Learning Sciences and Human Development with a graduate certificate in Disability Studies. I am on leave from my position as an elementary ML teacher in Iowa to complete my degree but will return to this position fall 2021. I currently work as an education and curriculum consultant for an educational technology company focused on creating an English learning app for elementary MLs.
