WAESOL, the Washington state affiliate of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), is a professional, non-profit organization whose purposes are to:
  • Promote scholarship
  • Disseminate information related to ESOL
  • Strengthen instruction, teacher training, and research in the teaching of English to speakers of other languages

Clock hours will be available for both the live conference and the recorded sessions. Please note: Clock hours can only be earned once for a particular session either during the live conference or as a recording.

Anna Ciriani-Dean is co-creator of The Teacher Think-Aloud Podcast, a podcast for reflective practice for teachers of English around the world, and program manager at Jump on Languages, a Seattle-based company which offers a variety of in-person and online language-learning programs for kids and adults. She previously worked as an English Language Fellow (U.S. Dept. of State) to Armenia and Ukraine, an adjunct instructor at various institutions in Washington and New York, and an assessment developer for both small- and large-scale tests. Her interests include teacher development, second language writing, task-based language teaching, language assessment, and social media for learning.
