WAESOL, the Washington state affiliate of Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL), is a professional, non-profit organization whose purposes are to:
  • Promote scholarship
  • Disseminate information related to ESOL
  • Strengthen instruction, teacher training, and research in the teaching of English to speakers of other languages

Clock hours will be available for both the live conference and the recorded sessions. Please note: Clock hours can only be earned once for a particular session either during the live conference or as a recording.

Ron has been on the faculty at Mukogawa U.S. Campus in Spokane since its inception in 1990. He has also taught at both public high school and university in Japan as well as adjunct positions at WSU in Pullman, Gonzaga University, Kansas State University, and Moody Bible Institute. He served as the 2011 and 2013 WAESOL President, chaired the 2011 Tri-TESOL Conference (ORTESOL, WAESOL, BCTEAL), fifteen Spokane Regional ESL Conferences and co-chaired 5 WAESOL Conferences. Since the early 90s, Ron has been a frequent presenter at state, regional and international TESOL conferences on practical solutions related to technology in education and administration.
